11-4-25   THOUGHTS

A simple but powerful introduction to a personal letter from Paul.  The 1Peter passage speaks of our  “being born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,”   This is the promise from long ago for the HOPE OF ETERNAL LIFE”!  It’s a common faith that we share. “Grace and peace...”  God’s wish for us.

Titus 1:1-4   Paul, a bond-servant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ, for the faith of those chosen of God and the knowledge of the truth which is according to godliness,  2  in the hope of eternal life, which God, who cannot lie, promised long ages ago, 3  but at the proper time manifested, even His word, in the proclamation with which I was entrusted according to the commandment of God our Savior, 4  To Titus, my true child in a common faith: Grace and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Savior.
1Pet 1:3    “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,”

Our Prayer:
O God of all creation, hallowed be Your name. You have blessed us beyond our comprehension. Please, dear Father, may we have that living hope of eternal life.  Give us a greater portion of eternal life and Your Spirit, now!  Help us to awaken and serve with willing minds and joyful excitement.  As children with the greatest Father ever, teach us an Abba Love, that we might abide in You continually.  In the name of our Savior,   Amen.
